Say what you want about Kobe Bryant; it's all opinions.

He wouldn't have won 3 championships without Shaq. Maybe.
He's selfish, egotistical and spoilt. Perhaps.
He is only the player he is because the coach and the awful team let him be. Doubtful.

He scored 81 points on Sunday. Including 55 in the second half.
FACT. Undisputable. Incredible.

It might have been against the Toronto Turnstiles, but this is an awesome feat, make no mistake about it. And yet somehow it doesn't surprise me all that much any more. The guy is PHENOMENAL. The Lakers could win the Finals by just letting him shoot and fouling Ben Wallace whenever possible.
Which brings in everybody's childhood basketball fantasy. The Pistons bring in a player just to have him punch out Kobe and be ejected. Or they snipe him from the press box. Or they poison his burger.
