Book-keeping
Yo gang, back safe from 2 weeks down south in Kyushu.
Deserted islands, 7000-yr-old trees, pork cubes, hells. It will all be here in pictorial form soon.
First, though... gonna throw up some shots from here and there over the past couple months, since we got back from Hokkaido.
First: the camera shop on the main road in Ako, who took all our photos at the wedding ceremony last year, has put a big shot of Kana and me up in their window. All the kids at school tell me they've seen it. How embarrassing! (Secretly I love it of course)
Second... went to Kyoto last month to see Animal Collective... meh. Love the records, live show had its high points but dragged on a bit. Here are some
pix, with some from the Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto too, and others. One of Dave Miller's awesomely high-art tour poster I found in the Kyoto Metro toilet.
Kyushu photos next time. For now, check out the
funniest video EVER, courtesy of my Taiwanese exchange student pal Ryo, and Dan's hosting. It's of someone trying to rollerblade for the first time, and it looks like a rollerblading pro intentioally looking as stupid as possible. Enjoy; I did.
Which reminds me, anyone who hasn't already seen the dubbed GI Joe safety clips should do so NOW, starting with
this one. And then
this one. Google "gi joe video" for the rest.
