Silence the press!

I was thinking of posting something about the upcoming election of the new LDP party boss (and by default Prime Minister) to replace Koizumi, and how I think the Yasukuni Shrine issue is such an important one to clarify in that context. Then I read this article on the Daily Yomiuri website. Possibly the most rhetoric-cluttered, ridiculous opinion I have seen in some time. Sure, a press blackout. That's what we'll do. Maybe if the US imposed a press blackout on news from Iraq too, Bush would be the most popular President ever!  ¶ 4:53 午後
